Nintendo Wii Display Problem?
The visual audio cable that came with my Wii (The Red,White,Yellow one) Recently broke, so I bought a Component Cable (Official Nintendo) as a replacement. The display is fine, and the audio is fine, but the picture itself is in black and white. I have checked and checked and the cables are in the right sockets. I also have a Standard Def TV, 480i, if that makes a difference. I’ve also checked to make sure it’s on 480i on the Wii, and not the HD settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
The component cables are strictly HD. Your tv is Standard def, you probably don’t have only 1 input for video and since it’s only receiving that one, it’s only transmitting the grayscale.
