What’s wrong/ What do I do with my Super Nintendo (SNES)?

I had this system since I was in 2nd grade and I want to know what’s wrong with it. I Plug it in correctly and all that, but for some reason, absolutely nothing happens when I flick on the power. What should I do? I have no idea where the closest game store is that will be able to repair it, I’m in Decatur, Illinois. and if you might know what I should do please tell me.
