the classic controller is like a regular controller you just plug into the wii remote to use it. some games can’t be played with motion sensors and a nunchuck

can someone explain about the nintendo wii and nunchuk controller? do i need both(one in each hand) to play?
or does one person have the control and the other a nunchuk? or can both people just have a control? if i buy a control does it come with a nunchuk as standard? this is well complicated!!! help!!!!!!! ha ha cheers.

Have a broken wii remote – help!?
Have used the wii for a while now,the console itself seems to be working fine.
Just the two controllers, (one of which has only just recently been purchased) have stopped working, the sensors do not work, and when you press down on buttons on the remote, there is no response from the blue lights.
We have tried putting in new batteries, but this does not change anythign either.
Does anyone know what is wrong with the wii/wiimote, or how to help fix it?
